Q: How many private pool villas are there in Sandalwood?
A: Sandalwood has three private pool villas. They are the Leelawadee Villa, Camellia Villa and the Plumeria Villa.
Q: How many pools are they in Sandalwood?
A: There are two main infinity edge pool shared by all the villas, along with the three private pools, for a total of five pools.
Q: Where is Sandalwood located?
A: Off the main ring road. We are on the hill above Coral Cove between Chaweng Beach and Lamai Beach.
Q: How far are you from the airport?
A: We are 20-30 minutes by car from the airport. Sandalwood includes free transfer to and from the airport for our guests. We want to make your stay as worry free as possible.
Q: How far are you from the closest beach?
A: The Coral Cove Beach is 3 minutes away by car at the bottom of the hill on the ring road.
Chaweng Beach and Lamai Beach are both 15 minutes by car. Sandalwood offers free shuttle to and from both the Lamai and Chaweng Beach every day.
Q: How far are you from the main shopping?
A: We are 15 minutes by car from Chaweng Beach's main shopping district.
Q: How far are you from the super market?
A: We are 15 minutes by car from Tesco Lotus the largest super market on the island.
Q: How far are you from the restaurants?
A: Sandalwood features own full service Thai and Western restaurant on Sandalwood's property
We are also close to other fine restaurants, including Dr.Frogs, Ta Rua Samui Seafood and The Cliff Restaurant all within 10 minutes. There are dozens of fine restaurant all over the island of Koh Samui.
Q: How far are you from the nearest hospital?
A: We are 5 minutes by car to the largest hospital on the island.
Q: How far are you from the nearest fitness centre?
A: World's Gym is 10 minutes away by car. Our hill location will keep you in good shape. :)
Q: What activities do you have for children?
A: Although we have no children's playroom, we have snorkel equipment, floatation devices, and pool toys. We also have some children movies DVD and books along with babysitting service.
Q: Do you do anything special for honeymooners?
A: Yes, we have a five night honeymoon package. For those who cannot stay for five nights, we can offer and variety of a special honeymoon touches including chocolates, exotic flower bouquets, flower petals on the floor and bed. This is our specialty.
Q:. Do you do have weddings at Sandalwood?
A: Sandalwood has hosted dozens of weddings. We feel we have the ideal setting with panoramic ocean views at the main infinity edge pool for the perfect wedding.

Q: Do you offer the hi-speed internet?
A: Yes, we have complimentary WIFI in each room, lobby and restaurant.
Q: Do you serve Halal food?
A: The Sandalwood Villas restaurant does not serve Halal food. However, we do serve high quality vegetarian food, and we will try to accommodate your special dietary needs. There are several Halal restaurants, in the Chaweng/Lamai Beach area of Koh Samui, that do serve good Halal food. We would be happy to take you to any of these restaurants, and also would be happy to go and pick up food there, and then deliver it back to your room at a small service charge. There are also a couple of Indian vegetarian restaurant in the Chaweng Beach area, that serve Halal food upon request. There is also a Masjid in Koh Samui, and many Muslims live, and holiday here. The Masjid is the Masjid Nurulihsan in the Muslim fishing village of Hua Thanon. The Jummah Salaath is held between 12:15PM and 1:30PM and the sermon is conducted in Thai. This is about a 15 minute drive from Sandalwood villas.
